The following works are studies for paintings using oil pastel and graphite. The interest continues with the contrast and relationship of space seen in constructions like the Blackfriars bridge, train trestles and buildings. Also the quality of light and texture which is also seen with ancient structures in the Eastern world like the pyramids and mosques. The theme of the seasons continues and in this series Winter is the season.
