The linocut print, The Prophet’s Comb 1988, is an example of an object considered sacred and valuable. This image is a direct reference to the Topkapi Museum which contains relics of the prophet Muhammad. The background is a traditional Islamic design based on a Turkish Iznik ceramic tile.
