PAUSE

2000 - 2010 pg. 2/2

A series of drawings depicts the Blackfriars Bridge in London, Ontario and also drawings and paintings of the moon during the lunar eclipse. The drawing, The Moon as Viewed by Al Battani 888 AD, is a homage to the scholar, astronomer and mathematician who made very accurate calculations about the length of the solar year and produced his Zij, a set of astronomical tables which centuries later influenced Copernicus and Kepler.

Recent drawings, paintings and sculpture continue the interest in faith, the spiritual and social injustice.
